YARD BALL x NATIONAL FOOOTBALL MUSEUM

Yard Ball Sheffield brings interactive street football challenges to Manchester’s National Football Museum, with a bespoke exhibition celebrating football culture, skill games, and playing out nostalgia.

For the next few months, a little piece of Yard Ball Sheffield has landed inside Manchester’s National Football Museum.

Right in the museum’s main atrium, you’ll find four bespoke Yard Ball challenges, plus a bonus bin shot and our famous kerby kerbs, all created as an interactive exhibition celebrating the side of football that existed before coaching drills, tactics boards and academy pathways.

This exhibition runs until 1st November 2026.

FOOTBALL, BEFORE IT GOT SERIOUS

The National Football Museum tells the story of football through legendary shirts, iconic moments and the history of the game.

Yard Ball lives slightly earlier in that story.

Before the organised coaching.
Before the training cones.
Before everyone had matching kits.

This is the football most of us remember first.

Playing out on the street until the lights came on.
Inventing games with your mates.
Using garages, kerbs, bins and whatever else you could find as targets.

The exhibition takes inspiration from that 90s playing out culture and turns it into something visitors can actually jump into and experience for themselves.

TAKE ON THE CHALLENGES

Visitors can work their way around all four challenges, plus the extra bin shot, keeping score as they go on an official Yard Ball scorecard. Included as part of your museum visit

It’s competitive if you want it to be.
But mostly, it’s about having a kickabout, trying ridiculous shots and reconnecting with the fun side of football.

A proper hands-on addition to the museum, built for kids, grown-ups and anyone who remembers the sound of a ball smashing against a garage door.

Wrld Cup Pass cannot be shared, Yard Ball reserves the right to cancel pass if it is found to being exploited between users.

Wrld Cup Pass Hattrick Bundle includes 1 pink Yard Ball branded football and one Yard Ball limited edition country tee. Customer must pick size and variation on completion of purchase. Size options include S, M, L. Yard Ball do not accept returns or swaps for sizes or variations of limited edition tees.
