Yard Ball Sheffield is seeking talented and passionate Team Members to help to grow our team. Spread across over 30,000 sq ft, Yard Ball Sheffield is a nostalgic football & social experience.
Our unique concept will transport visitors minds back to a time when football was fun and Social Clubs were a staple along side a chippy tea on a Friday. Fusing Social Club aesthetics, great food, 90’s culture and street football classics like Kerby and crossbar challenge, all while reminiscing about baggy kits, teletext scores, bad haircuts (usually by your mum), games on the garages or under the pub car park lights when it gets dark.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be part of the Yard Ball team that provides an exciting, healthy, innovative and quality environment, to create demand which exceeds the customer’s needs.
- Providing the highest possible standards of Customer Care within a healthy and safe environment by guiding and assisting customers throughout their journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Have Yard Ball’s Vision in mind when presenting yourself within the business by focusing on our key offer and our guest’s expectations.
- Have a clear understanding of Yard Ball’s Mission and the Yard Ball brand.
- Incorporate Yard Ball’s Values in everything that you do, going the extra mile for our guests.
- Have a passion to learn / expand your knowledge and skills base.
THE TEAM MEMBERS ROLE WILL FOCUS DAY TO DAY ON THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for all our guests.
- Assisting them in their product decisions through exceptional product knowledge.
- Upsell other Yard Ball products and provide recommendations to enhance the Yard Ball experience.
- Following food safety and licensing laws.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Supporting with general cleaning tasks around the venue.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be passionate about customer service and be a team player and have a willingness to assist team members in various roles. Have a positive “can-do”, optimistic outlook and be reliable and flexible. You will ideally have experience, working within a leisure or a hospitality related industry and be able to work under pressure during peak times.

JOB SPECIFICS:
- Part-time working hours available.
- It is expected that you will be available to work weekends and public holidays.
- Expected to have a reliable commute to work.
- Being part of a team of up to 35 staff members.
- Contributing to the success of the venue.
- Liaising with all departments of the Yard Ball Team to ensure a seamless guest journey.
